Did they have the leather one for you to look at? I posted some pics on this thread a little while back.... http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...3&postcount=17 I like this one a lot. The two plastic ones they had just seemed so wrong for such a nice phone ![]()

I got this one as well but the plastic rotating belt clip makes me nervous as I have broken several at the swivel point. What I am really looking for is exactly what came with the Touch a simple pouch with a magnetic closure and a spring steel fixed belt clip. If anyone knows of anything like that I would appreciate a link! ![]() |

Re: CDMA TP2 cases, any good ones?
I have the same on and love it. Nice and cheap. I stretched the elastic out a bit and the phone slides in and out a bit better and is not quite so snug now.

Re: CDMA TP2 cases, any good ones?
I bought this one from Best Buy a couple days ago and I love it. It comes in black or a brownish leather color and fits the phone like it was designed for it.
http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....ustomerreviews Its a little expensive at 24.99 but works better than any other case I looked at.

The Noreve is an excellent case. The build quality is superb. The phone is held in by 2 clips on the top and bottom. The clips do not put pressure on the phone at all. There is a little gap. The phone stays securely in the case due to the sidewalls around the bottom half of the phone. Since the clips don't put pressure on the phone and the sidewalls only come up as high as the lower half, it does not block the slide opening action(nor the tilt) to get the keyboard open. The cover open enough to expose the opening for the camera lens, when you fold it back. Plus is has a nice opening for the front speaker, covered in metal(yes metal) mesh. The magnet clasp wraps around and clasps on the backside of the case/phone, so no worries about it triggering the screen and what not. It also comes with a comepletly removeable belt clip. The only drawback and it's definitely annoying is that at the bottom of the case, the sidewall extends enough to blocks half the USB port on my Sprint TP2. In looking closely at the portion of the sidewall that covers part of the USB port, it looks as tho it is thinner than the rest of the sidewall, which leads me to believe it could possibly be meant to be removed if necessary. The only issue is, the sidewalls are covered in a thin leather covering, so you would have to do a little cosmetic cutting on the covering to get to the plastic underneath. My guess is this was made for the GSM version where the charging port is in the middle of the bottom. Everything else lines up perfectly tho, even the small side hole for whatever sensor is there. The bottom has an opening for the stylus and enough roomm to access the headphone port. All in all this thing is a great case, except that charging port being half covered is really bugging me. FYI, if you do wanna buy it, make sure you goto noreveusa.com not the noreve.com site, as the price is cheaper and so is the shipping since the regular noreve.com site is based in Europe. **EDIT** I did a little mod to the case which was to open enough of the bottom area to allow access to the charging port while the phone was still in the case. When I did the mod, I expected the sides to be plastic and an easy cut. Well, to my surprise the sides are METAL. I was able to do the mod using small metal snips and a razor blade to cut the leather coating it. It actually came out rather nice. Last edited by Chuck_IV; 11-30-2009 at 03:45 PM. |
