Re: CDMA TP2 cases, any good ones?
I really like this one.... Looks great, fits nicely & it has a slot in it to access the 3.5mm jack while the phone is still in the case....

Re: CDMA TP2 cases, any good ones?
I got the hardshell clear case from nakedcellphones (mentioned in an earlier post--it's real good. I have the Verizon TP2 and it fits perfectly. Clear, hard, and nice. Unlike a previous poster, I do not see any impact on the gap between the phone and keyboard with the cover snapped on. In fact, the tabs are so well designed, they dont even wrap around to the point where they could get in the gap. A real good protective cover/case. Snaps right on and stays in place with no extra play. Love it.

I love the look of my VZ TP2 too but, I like it operational more. :shrugs: I'd consider a clear case, but then it's not rubberized and the "smooth" feel of an innocase, like the back the TP2 has already is just great. I have a "smooth" XCM branded controller shell for my Xbox 360 controller and love that too... same sort of finish. I'd consider just a "film" protector like ghost armor / invisible shield but they do nothing for absorbing impact, and I'm much more concerned about impact then scratches. |
Re: CDMA TP2 cases, any good ones?
I have front and back Ghost Armor on mine and love it. And my application of it is a work of art if I do say so myself. :) I hate the idea of covering it up but I'm an Innocase convert for the same reasons as Protronus. I'm wondering how hard it would be to pop a Ghost Armored TP2 out of the Innocase if I wanted to go without it at times. The one I had on my Mogul was a pretty tight fit and I'm not sure the clips would stand up to regular unsnapping. This may be a man in the iron mask kind of thing and once it's on, it's on.

Re: CDMA TP2 cases, any good ones?
For those of you who are desparately looking for a perfect case for your new Touch Pro 2, I believe I have found the solution, and better yet, it is a Genuine HTC Case which works on magnetic closure (it secures tight) instead of the hook and loop velcro which we all know works good for about 1 month and then can't stay close. I purschased mine from Best Buy and added my own modification to it. As you can see from the pic below, I added a piece of elastic which surrounds the normally wide open area of the case (could result in scratches/dents if left open) It is not necessary but works amazing as I did the same thing to my Touch Pro case and never nicked the chrome once in over a year! If you guys are interested in getting one it is listed on the box as "Leather Horizontal Pouch, Black w/Velventeen Lining. HTC Branded" and the Item Number is 82024LRP. The elastic can be found at any WalMart and costs about 1.79. I used some 3M double sided tape to keep it secure on the sides as well as the underside. Get the case here:
http://www.wirelessdepot.com/Product...ixed-Belt-Clip Not sure why it shows a brown material on the sides but I can cofirm it is ALL black and you can see yourself from the pictures. http://i158.photobucket.com/albums/t...s1683/case.jpg |
