I purchased the Pre... I saw that there will be a gsm version, so there is no end in sight for the Pre... hopefully... Had the chance to really get to know it this evening.. Some very cool features, but missing some things that I hope will be added down the road... (Bt file sharing!!)

Yes, Sprint allows you to essentially do an ESN swap via their website.
