Re: Google Voice Incoming/Outgoing Options!

Couple questions.... First is there any better way of using your Google Voice Number on you r cell for incoming outgoing and SMS? I got incoming and outgoing working but SMS is a no go.. How can i achieve this?

Also im on spring are they still offering the pick 3.. if so i want to get off this $99 everything plan...what should i use that has unlimited data as im a bandwidth hog.

Hi Mordy, not sure if this has been mentioned, but in the tutorial it says to put the rule in "/device/my document", and I believe it should be "/device/my document/magicall". I know most people would probably figure it out on their own, but I guess Im not that smart because I kept putting the file in mydocuments and having nothing happen lol.

Yeah sorry, fixed and credited

that is more a carrier question.
sms does work through it, i have not gotten time to work out a stable ruleset that is compatible with the latest relased version of magicall - the version i am working with does not work with the version that has been released to the public

A new Magicall Version?
I could not find it when I looked on the Magicall Website.
Do you have a Link?
And do you know what the Changelog is?
Thanks.

I am succesfully using Magicall to manage my outgoing call, i love it. For the incoming call i have the unlimited plan so i guess i dont need to do anything for incoming calls.

MordyT any progress on the SMS rule set? SMS is the only thing holding me back from using my GV exclusively.

I got my invite yesterday. Im on alltel and have 10 myCirlce numbers. If I put my GV number on mycircle will it all be free still?? would I need Idialer too? Im confused cause all this is geared more towards sprint.

If "MyCircle" is the equivalent of "Sprint's Pick 3" and includes any number, landline, cellullar, etc., then just add Your GV # as one of them, and download the Cab MordyT posted in post #1, and all of your Outgoing calls will be free :)
