Not another Wiki
 

Well, after looking for an not finding what I wanted...I just decided to build it.

#1 - place to compare ROMs and Kitchens..with filter and sorting.
#2 - place to keep track of my own personal ROIM experiences
#3 - place to keep track of cabs I load (how many cabs do you have on your storage card you have no idea what it is)


So I built up this Sharepoint site and gave a bunch of Cookers rights to post their stuff.

So, now I'm going to the public.

Please understand that adding users is not automatic and somewhat cumbersome....I will try to process requests as soon as I can...but I just want to set expectations...It may by 24 hours or more in some cases. since I'm the only Admin right now.

Hope you like it...There's a survey out there on the site to let me know what you think.

please include what type of access you want

User: track my own stuff
Cooker : post custom roms for other people
Coder: post my custom programs for people to try
Admin: I'd like to help maintain this

Anybody can register...Since It's Sharepoint, the security is pretty locked down. I have to go in an manually add each user. Which I'm happy to do for all who requests.

It seems like a great idea and you are off to a pretty good start! Hit me up with a PM if you need some help, I have a bit of free time and could offer assistance if needed.

I would love to see this idea expanded to other devices as well, maybe to include the Titan, Vogue, and Diamond. That way it could be a one stop repository for all of PPCGeeks ROM information. Possibly with each ROM linked back to the thread on the site...

Yes we already have a site based on google sites and google docs, but this just seems to add a whole level of interfacing/searching that just isn't present with the current layout

Done...there's no content out there...It's available for Cookers and Coders to load their stuff....and users to track their stuff.
