help needed for Sprint Akey issue please

Hi there. Need help with a Akey problem with sprint. Got a mogul a while ago and couldn't enter the akey. Searched and tried lots. I am not with sprint. ended up changing to a kitchen rom. For other phones, same problem. I have flashed to vz and no problems. Got a Samsug with sprint same problem. Any ideas why sprint firmware won't accept Akey? Any help would be appreciated.
