elf 0100 problems

ok so i got this elf 0100 and apparently it is the clone.
the digitizer stopped working and i cannot get a replacement...
i am thinking it is that the phone... can i flash it with a rom that will get the digitizer working?
what is the proper way to hard reset the clone touch?
