First PDA/Smartphone need recommendations
Hi all, needing your help
Looking to get my first PDA/smartphone. Not sure what to get and its a little baffling whats out there without having the experience to make the correct decisions. I'm looking for recommendations. Features I'm looking for: - Make phone calls - obviously. - be able to surf the proper web, not just wap - Bluetooth - Wifi - be able to connect to my wireless router at home for surfing the web. ideally: - be able to open .pdf files - be able to create, open and edit MS word docs, and powerpoint files. - emails Bonus is it has but not essential - reasonable Camera not interested in - although I know a lot will do these anyway: - GPS - Mp3 Can you help? let me know what you recommend? Many thanks CC |
Re: First PDA/Smartphone need recommendations
Well my initial advice is for you to look at the top of the web site (where the phones) are. And decide which of those is most visually appealing to you. Basically, what looks cool. You'll notice that a few have keyboards on the front (e.g, 700wx), some don't have a hard keyboard at all (e.g, Touch), and some have a slide out keyboard (e.g, Mogul).
Most of the phones will be able to do everything that you listed. After that you may then want to click on some of those phones. That will take you to their respective forums where you can start learning about their features, limitations, pros, cons, etc. late, Coz |
