UTStarcom MP6900?

So I just got off the phone with sprint. My mogul was giving me some hard times. Was turning off when i would slide out the keyboard. To make a long story short I was talking to tech support and he said he was sending me a UTStarcom MP6900? What exactly is this phone is it the touch ? If so why is it called this? Is it come cheap make of a htc or something?
