Swappping activation between 2 phones?

Wondering if anyone has done it personally.

Say I own a Mogul & a clean Touch. I decide to use the Mogul for 1 day. The next day, I go to Sprint's site and activate the Touch (I assume I'll deactivate the Mogul in the process) use the touch for a day and the day after, re-activate the Mogul and shutdown the Touch.

Can this be done or its it not that simple?
