Re: Updated: Free direct push mail using mail2web tutorial.
This is my experience with mail2web super super spam email bloatware up the email pipe line like you have never dealt with before ,have been using it for about 2 years and hate it everyday i have to delete like 500 spam emails that there peace of crap spam filter does not catch or filter ,yeah right do not use that service sucks big time you have to go through 200 junk emails to get to an email that is not spam!!!!
before you mentioned it i have messed and adjusted the spam and email settings to supposedly filter yeah right!!!!!!!!! anyways don't use this anymore highly unreliable!!!!!!!!! |

If you're using POP3 or IMAP you will might need to click 'Send/Recieve' to send the message. At least thats what was needed in my experiences. |

Re: Updated: Free direct push mail using mail2web tutorial.
Only one account can be setup with push mail? I made a new one and wanted to add another mail2web to my push mail forwarding my gmail account, and add my hotmail account... but it seems that I can't choose the option to add a new outlook exchange server, and the hotmail account even though it adds it automatically doesn't seem to be using pushmail?

Re: Updated: Free direct push mail using mail2web tutorial.
I got this working on my vogue and Mogul and I'm on Cricket.
The only free email service that really agrees with mail2web is Gmail. Why these don't work for me in my experience. Reason for Hotmail: Its HTTP protocal and doesn't work with mail2web. Also hotmail does not allow you to forward emails to other providers. Reason for Yahoo: It is possible but in order to have access to do something like this you need to pay to acces your email remotely. Also Yahoo does not allow you to forward emails on a free account. Reason for AIM: They say its accessible but it does not work for me. Also it does not allow you to forward emails. These are the providers i have tested mail2web. It is possible for other IMAP/POP3 accounts to work as well. Best advise and practice "Forward you email to your username@mail2web.com" P.S.--I do not put the domain name in because it gets grayed out when you put username@mail2web.com and works fine for me. 8) Also if you forward all or any of your accounts to the mail2web one you will recieve all of them on your one outlook account on your PPC. Hope this helps everyone. |
