I have an o2 atom exec runnin on WM5 and have a few questions.

1. Can it be upgraded to WM6 with windows live and how and where do i do it?

2. Where can we download the windows live client (Not live search) for the current WM5?

Welcome to the forums! You best bet would be to head over to XDA Developers forums and see if what info they have in regards to updating your O2 Atam to WM6.

Also, if you want to stay with WM5, there is a cab out there for Windows Live. Search the software forums to find it.

For vets of the platform, you come to XDA when you've outgrown alot of things & look to hack into more features.

Your 1st time there should be spent in searches IMHO, you'll want to throw everything you got at it.

My best tips are when you're looking type these along with your search words when looking for files:

.cab .zip .rar (i.e HTC Homeplugin .zip)

Newbies normally should have their results made in posts but if you want to make things easier: choose "search threads".

TIP: Type this into the search box at XDA:

Windows Live .cab

^When you enter that in and see the results, look at the very top of the page, where it says:
"Members Lists" & "Calendar", now look in the space in between those 2 words and scroll your eyes downwards:

you should see a bunch of little silver paper-clip icons going in a column (THESE hold the goods!!!!) each clip icon represents every attachment & file in the entire thread, all compiled into one spot. Start with the very 1st silver paper clip icon & click it open, you'll probably find the file you want, in seconds from the small pop-up window.

Hope this helps you from future newbie stresses!
