Best Windows Mobile 6.5 instant messenger?

Hey guys, I've been looking around for instant messenger clients and simply haven't found anything that great yet. I have an HTC Touch Pro on Alltel.

I tried Palringo, but as specified by their forums, there is some bug that makes it near impossible for HTC phones to connect to the Alltel network. No one really knows why yet.

So what is the best instant messenger client for the following?:

Windows Mobile 6.5 support
Touch Screen optimized
Push support (because I don't want to suck away battery life)

Any ideas?

Re: Best Windows Mobile 6.5 instant messenger?

also, what phone do you have?
some programs are only limited to one screen resolution.
which is why you should put your phone type and carrier into your profile.
it helps when you ask questions so people know without having to ask,
thus getting you an answer alot quicker.

don't mean for that to sound mean at all if it does, just letting you know.

One word, Trillian. Combines all IM clients into one interface. No matter who you want to message from PPC or PC you can do it. Plus many other features.

Personally, I use Nimbuzz. Got the idea from Piranah and have loved it since

Re: Best Windows Mobile 6.5 instant messenger?

In regards to post one, I pretty much solely use Yahoo. But the Yahoo messenger isn't available for the Touch Pro.

In regards to post 2, yes I can correct the phone not being listed in the profile, but the phone I use is in the first line of my original post.

I have IM+ installed now, and while the Push ability is something I really want (to save the Touch Pro's ridiculous battery life), $40 for something like that is a bit high for my tastes.

Right now I just use Yahoo SMS, but would still like a proper messaging client.

Re: Best Windows Mobile 6.5 instant messenger?

The original post said he had an HTC touch pro.... which means he has Windows mobile....

Unless there is some secret place to find it. there is no Nimbuss for windows mobile.. which sucks..... Even SLICK has stopped windows mobile versions.

SO.... can someone give a recommendation for a great instant messenger program for windows mobile using mostly Yahoo IM....

By the way, I will be using it on a Touch Pro 2
