Why does everyone hate the iphone?

Some people are putting out useful information and some arent. But for the ones that are its worth it to sift through and find them.

I've been there, I've also noticed none of the iphone forums are gracious enough to have a Winmo section on their sites. I dare you to go to your favorite iphone forum and do what you've done here. Make a thread about how great the touch pro is and see if the result isnt similar to this thread

I go to all the top iPhone sites- icafe, MR- but honestly there are WAY too many Apple fanboys out there. You can't have any debates about missing features with them at all. Its quite laughable.

Im with certs. Although while there are apple fanboys there are also many wm fanboys.

Exactly, why would you expect to post about how the iphone is soooo awesome on a site that was created and grew up on winmo without meeting resistance. The reason many of us here are like this is primarily a defensive reaction because of the attitude of most iphone owners. I used to not be this way, but you can only hear people tell you "you shoulda got an iphone, it's better than any other device" just so many times before it's an irritant. Also the fact like they act like it's some kind of exclusive deal like I couldnt have one if I wanted one lol.

When someone complained about MMS they would reply 'You can email, email is better, get over it geez!' and now they're all asking when MMS will be available. So funny.

Im not posting about how great the iphone is. Im posting about how misinformed the winmo community is about it.

Well, with mms i can send an email to a phone that has the picture in it, so im not too worried. But just having mms would be simpler

This is just not factual, and not the case.

If you got the impression that everyone hates it, it's like going to church and asking why everyone hates porn. (might be a bad example here, but do you get what I'm saying?)

It might have been more productive to ask, how the iphone today compares to other smart phones (ppc's) and why many here prefer them to the iphone.

The iphone is right for a great number of people. I'm not one of them. It aided the evolution of the finger-friendly screen and is a nice app launcher.

I have a WM phone that does everything I need it to do and is very customizable. I have never been happier with a phone. It's neither clunky nor slow and a perfect set-up for my family and I to stay on the same page.

I don't hate the iPhone, it's just not my cup of java.

I hear that, I'm an iPhone owner and can't stand the attitudes sometimes. But I can assure you the opposite holds true also, but when I see anti-iPhone posts in the WM sections I leave them alone. No one should go into the WM sections just to praise the iPhone and I don't think anyone should come into this little section just to bash it either. All it does is start an argument and get people mad, considering there's only a handful of iPhone owners here I don't see the point in that.
