Downgrade To Anything But 4.0

I need some help, I need to downgrade my iPod Touch 3G to anything but iOS4. The problem is the file that I had before no longer works. I bet an eror from iTunes, before the process even starts. HAs anyone been able to downgrade. Btw I do not have a SHSH saved on Cydia :angry7:

If you look on craigslist alot of people are swapping ipods for the same reason so I don't think you can downgrade.

yeah the bootloader is too hard core.
