iPhone reception fix

open letter from Apple regarding what the issue is and what they're going to do to fix it.

That might make sense, might. I have noticed that I can have no bars at all and I can still make and receive calls, text, web, whatever. The only time I couldn't do anything is if I run into an area where it actually says no service on my phone (i.e. in one of the bathrooms at my work which is built very much like a bunker). Either way, this update wont improve the phone in any real way. It will only change the way the bars show up.

Apple `stunned' to find iPhones show too many bars

http://finance.yahoo.com/news/Apple-...83258.html?x=0

So when this is fixed, that means Iphone users are going to see how crappy their reception has always been. I say just perpetuate the delusion....

And just to make this post relevant to the Evo forum: The creator of that curse word filled Evo versus Iphone4 video is getting fired from best buy.

the dB loss isn't just software, it's representing the signal quality more accurately

Re: Apple `stunned' to find iPhones show too many bars

so basically millions of iphone users are going to find out they dont have the good signal they thought they did. And the update is not going to fix the antenna issue on the iphone 4. This could be disastrous.

we've said all along that the cryphone was a toy...once people actually tried making calls, the problems started! and everyone is in denial because steve said there isn't a problem...wow!
