That motorola Droid coming to Verizon looks like it could seriously change the world.

I know I'm holding off on any phone purchases until I see it.

Which sucks....I was ready to pull the trigger on a TP2...then I read BGR's report on it....

My thoughts exactly!
But I am now unsure on what to do...
Verizon Rep confirmed that their goal is to have 3 Android phones by end of the year (but unsure if it will happen...)
That makes me want to wait till January to buy something, but I was already planning on buying the TP2 so am bummed on the idea of waiting that long.
I like the specs of Verizon's Droid, but I think it looks like crap. I showed my wife the pics last night and right away she said it was ugly. (shouldn't stop me from buying it).
Should I buy the Droid or wait to see what comes out later... I would have 30days after buying Droid to return if one of the new phones was (looks) better...

well, the next two vzw android phones are going to be the moto calgary and the htc hero.

Anyone know if Verizon's Hero will run Android 2.0 like the Droid?

I think we're going to see Android 2.0 exclusively on the Droid until new Android phones with the new snapdragon chipsets are released.
