Android Tethering

Ok, so in my WinMo PPC I can tether through either internet sharing if I fix the registry, or I can use WMWiFiRouter to do it without any difficulties or added costs.

Is android able to do this easily? I did a search for tether under these forums and didnt find anything. Im supposing Ill prolly stick with WinMo for a little while longer because there seem to be more programs to use with it (not that I use a whole lot), but still the more I can get away from MicroS^%$ the better.

Looking forward to your answer.
Thanks

Re: Android Tethering

You go to the android market and get one of the tethering apps.

Note: Once trial expires, you can continue using PdaNet for free with limitations to http connections only. Users still have Android 1.0 should install version 1.15 instead.
Might be enough for most of us, for now.

I used pdanet for my touch diamond, and it was the best $30 ever spent. It's easy to use and reliable, I never had any issues with it. I just downloaded the app for my Hero and it is working great. They have a free download so you can try it out for a week. Easy to install and use. I know it's not free, but it's a one time payment and its well worth it.
