Did you try to uninstall the updates to Play Store? |

Re: "Package File is invalid" happens all the time
I had this before, I think I had to uninstall play store then install it back (or used titanium backup for a backup of it) anyways it had to go through a reinstall, like what demon above suggested
that or you uninstalled/disabled/froze something that it needs. I had this problem when I was learning what things I shouldn't touch lol. Try fixing permissions too if you run out of ideas :S that seems to help on somethings |

Re: "Package File is invalid" happens all the time
I have got the same problem but it may be remove by doing this-
Go into Settings > Applications > Manage Applications > Market/Play store > delete the cache and data. |

However, after I tried to clear Google Play data 2 days ago, I haven't been unable to install any app for 2 days now. |

Maybe delete your google account from the phone, then add it again. |
