"Package File is invalid" happens all the time

See? It happens all the time!
Obviously, clearing Google Play cache and data does not work. It still gives me this message when I try to install any app from Google Play.:disgust:](*,)](*,)](*,)

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 4.0.4; en-us; SPH-D710 Build/IMM76I) AppleWebKit/534.30 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile Safari/534.30)

Did you try to uninstall the updates to Play Store?

Re: "Package File is invalid" happens all the time

I had this before, I think I had to uninstall play store then install it back (or used titanium backup for a backup of it) anyways it had to go through a reinstall, like what demon above suggested

that or you uninstalled/disabled/froze something that it needs. I had this problem when I was learning what things I shouldn't touch lol.

Try fixing permissions too if you run out of ideas :S that seems to help on somethings

I have got the same problem but it may be remove by doing this-

Go into Settings > Applications > Manage Applications > Market/Play store > delete the cache and data.

Actually, i often go into Settings > Applications > Manage Applications >Google Play>Clear cache, And it does not work. But it will be normal again later.
However, after I tried to clear Google Play data 2 days ago, I haven't been unable to install any app for 2 days now. :angry1:

Maybe delete your google account from the phone, then add it again.
