Rooting
 

Hi I am new to rooting, don't know a thing about it. Read some articles and rooted with oneshot, worked well. My phone is an HTC Dream on MTN. I downloaded Rom Manager and tried to install it tells me 'cannot install this application on this device' How stupid am I? what am I doing wrong. Please help:protest:

You might try downloading titanium backup, which may help you by installing "Busybox" for you. Also do you have Superuser installed, and does it tell you that "su is up to date"? These are some things that you might want to check. Also root checker can tell you if you are fully rooted.

Thanks for the advice. I do have titanium backup installed says that su is up-to-date. Says it installed "Busybox" but I don't know how to check. I will try root checker to see what it says. Thanks again.
