So has anyone managed to root this bad boy yet?

I'm loving the speed of this phone despite its hardware specs. Voice dial that actually works, a quick, responsive OS, and support for Microsoft Exchange. The only thing left is rooting. Anyone done it yet?

Its kinda like this..there is a flaw in adb...this flaw cannot be patched by the manufacturers..only google...aka at this point any android phone can be rooted using the same method (at least thats what I heard)

I was able to successfully root using SuperOneClick v1.5.5.
But then after backing the rom to SD card, phone rebooted and is stuck on lg logo.

z4root worked for me. I had to download it from xda since google pulled it from the Market, but it worked.
