Ok, this might be a sucess, kind of.... I received my Titanium backup license key via email and the instructions were to save the text file to the root of my sd card and launch Titanium and it would register it. Well, when I previewed the file in my email I used both quick office and text editor neither one of them allowed me to save the file. The save button was just greyed out. Here is what worked for me: I went to my sd card using "Astro" file explorer and saw there was a Mail Attachments folder there. I opened it up and what do you think I found in there? That's right, the text file I wanted to download!!! I then held my finger on it to get a sub menu, selected edit\copy and then went up a directory to the root of the sd card and selected paste. I then went in to Titanium and I was registered. Stinks that you have to work around like this but I think it might help you out. Let me know how you make out with this. Re: save email attachments in froyo?
Major kludge, but go to Gmail in your browser. You can download the attachment from there, and it will show up in your SD card\Downloads folder.
