Sure, it sounds like it meets the minimum specs, but you must remember that XP is a i386 architecture and the phone is ARM. You're better off just leaving it with Android as messing with an emulator like bochs on an android bed is just too much and you won't get very good results for say, XP

Why would you want XP anyway? Don't say games because there's no way games would really run on this through an emulator and XP build. You're just better off with Android. ;)
Exactly...drivers...getting things working would be a pain even it was able to work...nice idea..but very unpractical.

I just like getting you XP guys fired up. Main issue with XP is lack of 64bit, you will have a hard time arguing that.. (I think anyway). :headbang:

But the point of having XP on your phone is the "Why Not?" or the "Can it be done?" or "Look how cool my phone is, it's running XP can your iPhone do that?"

I think the main question I had is, Can it be done?

First, Windows 7 is the best Windows OS out to date!

Second, Windows XP is completely TRASH...........now.....and for some reason the 64bit version is even more trash!

Third, Android is A HELL OF A LOT BETTER than XP.........and don't forget that some netbooks, tablet PCs and laptops ship with Android on them already!

Last, instead of going around saying "look what my phone can do.......I got Windows XP on my phone.......look what my phone can do" why not just go around saying "look what my phone can do......I got Android 2.1 on my phone........look at what my phone can do?"
