Playing Web Streaming Radio?

There is a local radio station where i live that streams FM radio through their web page( www.kkyn.net ). It is streaming mms://wm-live.abacast.com/kkyn-kkyn-20 They feed the morning show and sporting events. Is there a way play this feed on the Andriod???? I have no problem doing it with a Windows mobile phone. Help Please!

Another Station that streams that I have not been able to connect to is at www.kpanradio.com

Pandora? Ive never used it, but i believe you can add stations in it.

you cant add stations like that though. wont work in pandora. i tried it in droidlive but i couldn't find out how to add a station besides searching. when i plugged it into the address bar of dolphin, all it did was find your thread on ppcgeeks lol. good luck though man ^_^

iheartradio is a radio player, but the stations you are looking for don't stream through it.

The issue isn't the program you're using, it is the codec of the stream. It is .asx (windows media stream) and android doesn't play that stream type. It will play .pls streams, which is what shoutcast online radio stations use.

Download "A Online Radio" and see if you can load the stream through that. If you can't, you'll have to wait, like I am, for Android to support that codec.

I hate to drag this back up but you mention that android can play .PLS streams? The stream i am trying to listen to is a .PLS and it wont allow me to play it.

Looks like Listen is for podcasts.

I couldnt find my radio station anywhere but i was thinking maybe i could just add it using its stream address. Unfortunately, i have no idea how to get it.

EDIT: Oh damn, I didnt realize it would automatically detect it when i selected through my browser. PIMP!!! Thanks guys.

EDIT2: Doesnt stream WMP extensions.

Leadapps makes a couple different streaming radio programs. Of those, I prefer "A Online Radio" which is great for Shoutcast streams (.pls). For mms or .asx streams, It seems that "DroidCumulus" works on limited devices. I can confirm that mms and .asx will not work on the Moment.
