I've also tried the Treo Alert, I'm guessing it doesn't work with 6.5.5...

I'm using BigE's 23518 (which I think is 6.5.5) and Treo Alert works fine. Hope this helps

I think that the program only downloaded a portion of the program to my phone. Now my phone is in a constant loop that I cannot break. My phone is flashing between the bootloader (tri-colored screen)... and a white screen that asks:

Press power button to start update image
Press action button to cancel update image

Pressing the power button starts the update, but after a few seconds the phone turns off and the process starts over.

Pressinf the action button cancels the update... sends the phone back to the tri-colored screen and then the phone turns off and the process starts over.

I have tried to reset, but this does not help. I have tried to reconnct to my PC but my PC does not recognize the connection. Do you have any advice for me on what I can do to either complete the process?

It looks like the HardSPL flash went right, as the bootloader screen shows:

PANT200
SPL-0.36.CMONEX
CPLD-2

I have tried to start the update with and without my memory card in my phone. With it in the BootLoader says OK but there is no status listed for the PANTIMG.nbh file. When I take out the memory card the PANTIMG.nbh shows FAILED and further it says UPDATE TERMINATED
UPDATE FAIL

Hi,

How can I enable gps on google maps? I'm not using sprint - I'm using cricket(have web enabled, etc). I'm using matbee's rom [march/03].

The Pro has a standalone gps chip right? so it should work no problem with gmaps - however I can't seem to enable it, and I can't find any specific threads on this matter besides agps programs, which I think defeats the purpose having to use that data instead of the phone's own chip

I could be completely wrong on this though, and if so - please enlighten me. I'd really like to get this thing enabled

[edit] wow. I'm not using sprint - i'm using sprint? what a retard. I fixed that with the correct carrier lol

I think I got GPS to work, but the location was all wrong.

Hey acidhax...I too am a Canadian and living in London, ON with Telus. I'm currently using the BigE rom with Pandora and it works great for me. Is this something I should be worried about?
