That seemed to have piggy-backed with the Battery Icon fix.
Start -> Settings -> System -> Regional Settings

In the REGION tab, select:
English - United States

OR

In the TIME tab, select:
Time style: h:mm:ss tt

very impressed with your rom. thanks. I was looking to enable word completetion on this rom and noticed it is gone. did you remove it, or is it hiding somewhere else ?

Ah, I didn't remove it, it must be hiding... I think I seen it in one of the options in the Advanced Config on XDA.

if you have the chance can you show me how to enable it on the device. I really need that. the keyboard is too small for my hands andit really speeds things up for me. thanks again.

A simple registry edit will fix this problem. Simply go to

HKLM\ControlPanel\Input and delete the value "Redirect"

Soft Reset and go to Settings>Personal>Input>Word Completion, and check the box "Suggest words when entering text", also you can set how many words to suggest, the default max is 4, but there is a registry edit to increase that if you want, though I don't know that one since I haven't used it in years.
