i downloaded the qvga, it's for our smaller screens, you can disable slide unlock in the options (there's tons of them)

download that cab and it'll cure the htc overlap issue after a hard reset

[EDIT] forgot what version i was posting in, the htc overlay shoudl be already fixed in this version

[EDIT EDIT] I know this probably isn't the correct outlet, but it's hard to specifically search, is there a way to disable or autohide the dialing for powervision/data? a registry key?

I know this may be a silly question but which release is later, 5.2.23409 or this one? I'm currently using Cfays 5.2.23409 and I'm trying to decide if I want to flash to this.

Also for anyone that used Cfays 5.2.23409 and this one, which do you prefer and why?

You can see by yourself what version is what you are using. Go to the about page and look for the version. I believe 23081 is the newest.

I used both and I'm finding this one better, just because it doesn't have the annoying wait cursor bug and has all the Sprint apps built in.

But by memory, I can't tell what version is faster or more stable. Both Cfay and Acidhax did a very good job.

Anybody know a way to access the "Input" settings so I can activate the nice unseen person who tries to guess what word I am typing, or what word I will type next?

Sure does make typing SMSs so much faster when that is enabled. Searched all thru the Setting stuff but can't find it.

The Input panel is there, but it is deactivated. So I guess it is just a Registry change, but I don't know where to look.

If anybody knows how to activate it, I will appreciate the help.

Edit: I followed the instructions listed for the Owner Information Control panel. Just go to HKLM/ControlPanel/Input and delete the entry "Redirect". Then do a soft reset and the Input panel will appear on the Personal Settings.

Can you disable the ON SCREEN KEYBOARD? There is no point to it?

Also, when i press the green/talk button from the home screen..it shows the call history...once i scroll down to the point the screen has to move down...the screen becomes scrambled.

Once I click up then, they start to become viewable again..let me know and THANKS

There are 5 different builds going on. But this is the absolute LATEST rom released. This, I believe, is the COM3 branch.

Another branch of 6.5 is being released, 235xx (23502 as of now) but I chose not to release it ,as it is almost identical to 23081 minus a few changes.

The slide to unlock is much better!

The KeyGuard? Or the 'Ok to Continue' Phone Canvas?

If you want my ROM with Phone Canvas removed, I'll zip it up and send it.
