Goog now has a mobile sync which is great way to back up contacts before first or any flash. b sure to goog for instructions

So you got it working after the flash?
I've been using it for ages but I keep getting certificate errors since I upgraded. Did you have any problems?

I've hard reset twice but no help there.
I'm NOT blaming the ROM though.
I've found lots of posts with people (on 6.5 mostly) getting this error.

Do you by any chance have a kitchen for the 23409. the only problem is I can't get the ringer update to install after the upgrade to 6.5.1. I would like to use the kitchen to fix that by integrating the update prior to flashing. I just don't get a ring when I get a call. the 21 --- 6.5 works great with the ring but I like the home page on the 23409 better.

Hi all, sorry for the noob question, but how do I make a backup of my stock ROM (Telus 6.1) before re-flashing, just in case I want to revert back?

I am a TOTAL noob (?) neophyte? with this stuff. I have a Treo Pro I got through Sprint (therefore, locked?) but I have no idea how I would install 6.5 on my phone. I'm aware the unlocker is not ready, but what are the steps I have to go through to get 6.5 working? What has to be installed where, etc. cfay, if you can help me get this going I'll be very happy to donate to your worthy efforts.

Duh. Never mind. I found a Winrar that extracted the rar file. It installed beautifully!

Okay, flashing went fine....except for the align screen ending loop. Digitizer is going bad, which is very common on Treo Pros

I need to exchange the unit. Can anyone point me to the stock Sprint Treo Pro ROM?

I was getting Outlook certificate errors when I enabled email encryption. As soon as I disabled this, I could send/receive once again.
