Ok, I know it has both screen locks but what i was asking is does it default to to the newer screen lock like on the touch pro, without having to manually make it use the newer screen lock. Not having to go in and hit start then lock, it defaults to the newer one when you hit the red button, and yes i already disabled the screen lock during calls.

red button- old screen lock (white bar at bottom of screen)
Default - old screen lock

New screen lock only available through extreme hassle of an extra key stroke. :-) start=>Lock.

Ran into a bug with the ringer volume being stuck all the way down. If I use the side volume buttons it appears to be up, but if I use the menu in the upper right to adjust the volume, it immediately shows the ringer volume off. If I turn it all the way up and close the particular screen and come back in, ringer volume reverts to all the way down. I verified the side volume buttons again and it is up as normal. Problem is I cannot get a ringer with any incoming calls. I'm about ready to flash back unless someone can propose a solution for this. I do like the ROM, but this is particular problem is killing me! Any advice?

Thank you...

Thanks to all who CFay and all who contributed to this post.

I was running WM6.1 and with Ebags RealVGA and the system was very stable. IE and Opera both gave good results for web browsing, though each with their own little quirks.

Installed both versions of WM6.5 and loved it. Particularly the easy finger access. My stylus could now become almost unnecessary. Two problems prevented me from sticking with either version of WM6.5:

1. The start menu now contains too many programs. I have to do a lot of scrolling to get to the programs I use frequently. Is it possible to organize/prioritize the start menu? Or is it possible to access some of my applications on the home screen?

2. RealVGA appears to run well on WM6.5, except I cannot reliably browse the web. IE will not start. The best I can get is the window complaining about IE not being the default browser, and no matter how I respond, it just shuts down. Opera shuts down any time I go to a complex web page (maybe not enough memory?). I would rather go back to WM6.1 than give up RealVGA or web browsing.

So, I installed CFay's clean WM6.1. However, when I restored from the Sprite backup I did just prior to all this playing around, most, if not all, of the Sprint junk came back with the Sprite backup. Oh well, I now have an unlocked phone, and no damage was done.

If anybody has a solution or solutions to the two problems above, please let me know. I would love to use WM6.5 with RealVGA and reliable web browsing.

If you push and hold the start menu icons an option will appear allowing you to move the item to the top or move the item down. Enjoy.

Did you try seeing if the bloatware showed up in the Remove Program menu? Sprite won't reverse the Rom so hopefully the sprint apps can now be removed as if they were any other failed cab experiment. Please report your findings.

Which version of 6.5 were you able to run using RealVga and is this the ebag version of RealVGA developed for Treo 800W?
