CFAY CustomRUU for Treo Pro

Hi, in anticipation of the unlocker, here is an Rom Update utility I patched for flashing custom roms on the Treo Pro. I changed task 28 to task 32 to prevent hard resets on accident. Use this for flashing all custom roms on the CDMA Treo Pro! Tested and WORKS for sure on Sprint.

Chris, may sound like a newbie question, but..... what's a ROM Update Utility? At 1.5 MB it surely ain't a custom ROM.
Do you mean this is just for using when someone does get a custom ROM? Is this the unlocker from cmonex? Or, are we still waiting on that before we get custom ROMs? Sorry for my ignorance...... |

No such thing as an ignorant questions, only ignorant answers :) . The RUU, Rom update Utility, is used in flashing custom roms, the stock will not work with custom roms, so what I did is patch this one to work with custom roms.

Wait, so that RUU actually bypasses the CID check, not the SPL? I wasn't aware that this was possible since way back when.
I'm whipping up a custom splash to test it out. |
