Lol hey i have a touch pro 2 as well, it is just so big in my pocket sometimes, i like having the treo on my hip :)
If you do activate your Treo make sure you flash to stock when you do so you wont have any internet connection issues! The wallpaper is from Ken Chan's HdMini theme over at XDA

Nice, so far looks good. I just have one problem: I can switch the clock from the 24hr setting? I hold the top right where it shows the time but I don't think its like that anymore.

Settings>System>Region>English United States. That's changes from 24 time.

Thanks, I love it so far. I downloaded 8/6 originally and just reinstall IMDB no biggie. Did anyone else get error 407 on PRL update and provisioning? I went back to stock and then did a clean update but still the same. Any ideas, does 8/7 fix this?

P.S. Does any have the link to the latest SMS threading app for this I am only finding betas from over a year ago on my searches.

OK -- took the plunge on the new ROM. I'm kinda partial to 6.1, but this ROM is stacked with a lot of useful features!

If I can live with the avail memory, this may be a keeper for me.

BIG surprise and plus for me is related to roaming. This ROM is compatible with the switchroam applet that I used on the TP2. Anyone that sometimes needs quick access to forced roaming will like this. Applet link below...

There wont be an option for it. If you have an email conversation with someone will be the only way to know ex below

ya unfortunately the 407 error has been occurring with some newer builds of windows and the Treo Pro :( it has been reported that it will work but it might take a few soft reset and retrys... sorry but if you have a real problem, flash ROM to stock, update PRL and Profile, then flash to my ROM. I cant figure out why the Treo is so touchy with updating the profile and prl because i use the same SYS builds on my Touch Pro 2 and it has no problem updating...

I had the same problem but installed the three Sprint cabs from the 6.1 post and havent had any problems on any of the raider roms since.

I am new at putting new ROMS on my phone. In your directions it says to download, then flash the phone. I downloaded the file but do not know how to flash the phone. I know this is a dumb question, but if you could help me out I would appreciate it. Thanks

you are correct, i apologize and i have updated the first page with a link to the hard spl flash page, read through it, but mostly read the first 25 posts and the last 25 (i find that to be a good start for reference) just make sure you know what your doin, its pretty hard to brick your phone but theoretically it can happen...

Thanks RaiderFan. The example you show above isn't threaded email as I understand it.

In the other winmo 6.5.x threaded email versions I've used (on my Touch Pro 2), "conversation" is an option in the drop-down for viewing the inbox. When selected email converstations are grouped into a single-entry in the inbox and when you select it, all the related emails are displayed. I've poked around on a few different Treo Pro 23xxx ROMs which reportedly support threaded email, but none of them seem to work this way :(

QUESTION: Is there an easy way to remove the WinMo slider version of the lockscreen that's cooked into this ROM?

With the Treo Pro center button unlock feature, the slider isn't really necessary and it's a pain. Unfortunately, however, my corporate exchange policies require that my device lock itself every 20 mins. So I have to slide the slider after hitting the center button.

I also recall hearing from another chef that the slide-to-unlock module consumes considerable RAM. Another good reason to get rid of it ;-)

Well unfortunately there is no way to get rid of the lockscreen :(
You can disable the palm keylock and just go with the winmo one though
As far as saving RAM i really havnt heard that, but hey i am no expert lol

Been cooking some ROMs with this kitchen. A lot of frustration and a lot of fun.

Built a very nice 6.1 ROM that I like with the apps I need and very snappy performance plus available memory.

Still working on my 6.5 ROM. Had some success removing the lockscreen files which leaves you with the basic lockscreen with numeric keypad and no slider. Still playing with other options to tweak memory and performance.

I always set the PP to 0 (i use oskitchen btw). The factor effecting available RAM for me is the newer builds of WINMO, they do memory a lot better... I cook my Own ROM for the TP2, i just dont release it, that scene is flooded with cooks :)

RaiderFan -- just installed this on my TreoPro, and I booted with over 42MB free RAM before provisioning. Not sure how that happened given you've got 38MB and I've never any 6.5 or 6.5.x go over 40MB.

This is the best ROM I've seen yet. Keep up the good work.

Unfortunately, my Treo is a little flakey right now and has some HW problems. I'm swapping it out for another and will plan to load this up for some serious use when it arrives...

WOW that is sweet, thank you. I think Skyfire cooked in is a RAM eater btw. Best to install to SD, i never use skyfire anymore anyways, opera mini all the way baby!
