Before I even ask this, I wanna say that I don't fault Calk's roms for this at all. I think the problem lies with the fact that manila 2.5 is designed for a 1GHZ processor, but...

But is there anyway to speed up manila 2.5? It's starts to go really slow, especially during the weather animations. Is there any regedit or something that I can do to speed it up a litte bit?

I can't bear to read through all 23 pages, and I see somebody else asking, so I'll ask as well, MMS? I get the text part when somebody sends a photo, but when I click to dowload image, it fails. Anything I can do to fix that? OH, using last version, not latest version, of ROM.

Love the work. The v1.2 28014 Manila 2.5 ROM build worked great! I am on Sprint. Flashed the v1.3 last night and several bugs that are similar to previous posters. The provisioning does not come up and is actually somewhat difficult to find (on quickmenu only). Second, the data connection does not work upon provisioning (not sure if it works before provisioning but I doubt it). I did follow the previous poster and switch the data connection to on. The data connection would not turn on the first time either until I modified the data connection to sprint in the advanced tab under select networks I had to change programs that auto connect to private network to sprint, then the data connection stayed on. Once the data connection was on I was able to sync outlook. Again, love the ROMs everything that is advertised is true, fast and smooth.

the sony x2 task manager is on these roms but not in the kitchen!!!! DIE calkulin!!!!!

im hoping you do add it with the edit to make the icon on the taskbar invisible.... i havent found how to do that yet.


on a side note... i have been using my own rom made with the kitchen and i like it....

Calkulin, you have the best ROM's out there, been running them forever.

I just put on the v1.3 Manila 2.5 WinMo 6.5 ROM and every once and a while I get the screen to freeze up, it seems as though things work, ie I can get to the start menu and open Messaging and send a message, but when I click the X to close it goes back to the screen it froze on, usually the start menu or a black screen. Any idea on this? Thanks.

I tried building a 28205 ROM (chose 28205 for the XIP also) and it wouldn't boot, I did a dump of the .nb file and it mentioned that the XIP had an error. Actually I tried building the ROM twice just to make sure I wasn't messing somthing up. Just FYI
