Anyone else notice this or have any suggestions, I have tried Inda's roms same thing, also I tried Raid's Kitchen same results although he get like 10+MB more free somehow would love to know what it is.

does anyone have an idea of where you can set the installation location of newly installed apps? i.e. when you run marketplace and download it, can you set where it installs?

There is also a lot of info in this forum you just have to search. If your not finding what you want through the ppcgeeks search feature try google.

IE: calkulins start menu organization ppcgeeks.

The best thing is to be ready to flash, and then flash, and then flash, and then flash, until you have what you want.

There is a wealth of information, but you have to be ready to dive in head first.

Ok, if I want to add a folder in 'My Documents', like this:
Directory("My Documents"irectory("Templates")

What do I do with this? Do I make a txt file? Where do I put it that it will be loaded in my ROM, or should I say, where do I put it so that I can select it in the kitchen so it'll load. That page didn't seem very clear in describing how to add things to my ROM.
Sorry I'm blonde!

Only way is to edit the cab. When I see there is an update, I always search the forums for a new cab then just edit the cab and install.

I normally run com2 but I just flashed 23549 and I have to say it's very stable. Memory seems pretty good with no soft resets. I'm posting a 23549 version of my ROM tomorrow if anyone wants to know.

for anyone interested, here is 23549 completely sorted for calk's kitchen set up. just extract in the root of the kitchen, and the sys does the rest.
