thanks for the reply, i just wasn't looking in the right spot. ended up reflashing because i left some stuff out on accident (pandora, slacker radio), but on the ROM, phone completely crash this morning, making it a mute point.

Removing chome doesn't screw with the start menu, does it? How about progs that attempt to add their own today screen widget? I guess manila would fall into a today screen widget category, albeit a big one.. I'm speaking of stuff like skype..

From the xda link I posted a couple pages back.
Lockscreen - WM6.5 Lockscreen LockscreenEA - Lockscreen east-asia components - replaces LockscreenNonEA LockscreenNonEA - Lockscreen Non east-asia components - replaces LockscreenEA For us English speakers, we want the "NonEA" files.
