TMartin, Thanks so much for your attempt. I just found the issue. For anyone else that may run across this, I had selected the "Multimedia 3.2.2012.1824.0" and the "Tweaks - Album Default Viewer". Both select gives the issue but deselecting "Tweaks - Album Default Viewer" seems to have resolved it. I am testing now.

What do the tweaks do?

ok, last question. got the ROM all configured for 6.5.x.
is there anything i need to check at the top of the kitchen, 4 boxes up there, before i create the ROM and try to kill my phone ?!?

which xip build and sys build do i want? i.e. most stable? does it matter?

the only thing in those 4 boxes that hafta be checked is the real wm 6.5 aku...

it probably was the hardware setup that bore us. i mean i like cooking, i think thats what makes me enjoy my phone. android once you make it how you want it, there is no more playing around left.

Not from what I saw with my tests. If you only selected the Multimedia Album and not the very last one then my guess for you would be the graphics driver you chose. If you are off a hair on that it will screw up all sorts of things.

Did you have both album options selected?

really, last question. now it wants device ID. even though it won't let me enter anything so I can create ROM. phone doesn't have to be connected to computer does it?

There are kitchens for androids too.....there just few & far between since its a very new OS. Just wait, we'll be building roms for android, just like we are for WinMo.
