Calkulin, just thought id let you know I love your kitchen. Id probably go bat**** mad if i had to run a crappy mightyrom or energy.

Ah ha! Where do you change them at?

They look pretty good actually. I dunno if you played with the font or not but the one it is using is great. However it is a bit much in places like the dialer/incoming call screen where it almost makes the text look bolded.

Overall I'm using 6.5.x/23637/Manila 1412.1 and it's pretty darn snappy. Probably not as snappy as using other version of 2.5 manila but definitely snappier than the same build on RC3 using 23541.

Here is an issue that maybe someone can help with. I am using Opera 9.7 and after moderate usage ( 5 or 10 mins) of browsing I get an “ out of memory, please close a tab to free up memory” but there is only 1 tab open and there is about 70 or 60 mb. still available according to WM. I am using 21893 build with NO since or manila just Titanium and an almost bare rom with 12mb. page pool. Any ideas?

To change the default folder icons, you need resource hacker and you can change the shellres.192.dll from module to file to open and edit and then change it back to module. It is located in Calkulin's WVGA Kitchen v1.6\SYS\23542\DPI_192\COMMON\Base_DPI_192.

I tired changing it to one of the other 2 theme and it still was white for me. The old Flamerise resolved that issue. Still have some other strange issues with 28232, but might revert back to my old ROM since I have been having some many issues and wait for a more stable sys package.

Getting random things like none of the buttons on the phone working or even on the screen work until you do a soft reset. Also this morning active sync no longer connects and most of the applications give me error messages that they won't start.

I think thats a little harsh.. those guys put a lot of work into their ROMs.

I wouldn't call those ROM's crappy at all. They are great actually. It's just that once you learn you to create and customize your own ROM's it's hard to go back to something preconfigured.
