Is it me or is the system font different in 23542?

Also does anyone know what Storage card\DCIM\.thumbnails is for? I hadn't noticed it before until the photos tab was showing pictures in this folder by default rather than of Storage Card\DCIM\100MEDIA

I am running off the 28232 sys and have issues so far in txt messages and in my email that the font is white on white. I can only ready the text message if i click on the specific text so it high lights in blue and then can read the white lettering. Just wondering if there is any fixes for this. I did change the classic blue and Flamerise because of the text field issue with the writing not showing up. I am abbout to downloan the new kitchen and try it again, but figure it would probably happen again. Any help would be appreciated.

the 1.6 kitchen has a new font file added, perhaps that new font file is the default?

For all interested, 23637 released today on xbeta. Here is the sys/msxip and oem for Calk's kitchen. Timebomb removed, watermarks removed, dialer fixed and setup for Calk's kitchen.
This does have threaded email.

Is there a tutorial for this? I'm an above average computer user but as far as cooking roms I am a noob. I'm starting to get the basics. Can somebody tell me how to, for example, cook in MaxManilla, custom taskbars, & custom splash screens?

MAxManilla is just an option you pick and is in the kitchen. My link does not cover customizing Kitchen.
