Using latest kitchen with 21056...I am trying to get the regular size start menu back...unfortunately the touch flo version installed doesn't have this option...does anyone know the reg edit or have a cab/solution available?

Have you tried deleting your kitchen_build_rom.bat file and replacing it with one from a previous kitchen? I had a similar problem with platformrebuilder.exe and deleted and replaced it, and it fixed the problem.

I don't know what to tell you then. I know its kind of a pain but you could always delete your kitchen and re-unpack it and try again.

2.5 doesn't have a Programs tab like 2.1, all you get are the quick links on the home page. Is that what you're talking about?

Hey Gadget, have you checked your hard-drive for errors, de-fraged and such? I noticed you have had a couple of kitchens "corrupt" on you and just thought i would ask.

No, I'm talking about the start menu itself...In 6.1, there were two "versions" of the start menu....One has large text for commonly used programs and the icons of recently ran programs. The other has smaller text and has the recently run programs below the common programs...You were able to switch between the two under the touchflo control panel setting.


With tflo 3, that option is gone...

I want to restore the smaller text and recently used items list rather than the big text with large icons....

If you want the smaller menu in 6.1, you have to disable 'Applications System - Enlarge Start Menu' in the kitchen.
