It is a real (TEST) ROM from HTC for the Rhodium. The GSM Rhoduim though, hense why MMS won't work for us Sprint people.

Manila 2.5 for the Topaz & Rhodium are lighter than Manila 2.5 for the Leo ie removal of tabs that are memory hogs. Running each version on identical devices, you'll see Rhodium runs much smoother & quicker than the Leo version which is fact enough for me.

I'm pretty sure every Rhodium has 288...

I thought the previous version we were using were ported from portrait to landscape. The devices it was ported from did not have landscape. Somehow I believe that the guys at HTC do a pretty descent job of creating a landscape version on sense 2.5. It may not be any faster but it is a better match for your TP2 that have landscape vs a device that doesn't.

Some how I get the impression you just stop buy to give us a hard time whats up with that? Just busting balls, man give me a break.
Well, I am willing to admit that I may be mistaken about the available ram of Rhodium vs RhodiumW. I was basing my statement on the comparison of the two devices shown here:
http://www.phonescoop.com/phones/compare.php?id
[]=2185&id[]=2090&id[]=&id[]=&id[]=

It is possible that they measured the memory differently, and that I may be wrong.

In regards to Leo manila vs Rhodium manila using more memory, well of course if you include additional tabs it will take memory. I was simply referring to the Manila core packages baing basically equal in terms of memory useage.

In terms of drama and/or "busting balls" -- all I can say is gimme a break. I've helped more chefs than I can count on all fingers and toes with issues in their roms.

I think it is a GSM shipped rom, not test rom.

Thanks for the help with the .mui file. I couldn't figure out how to permanently put it into windows, but I cabed it up and got it to work. Can you please tell me how to make a startup sound? Got the custom graphic, but it's just not as cool without sound fx.

Oh, hey look -- I'm not the only chef who thinks that there's no coding differences between manila builds which are device specific. Imagine that..

2.5.2012.1412.1 - has twitter, footprints, documents & ereader tabs(ereader tab was added by me)

Now for those that keep saying to use the Rhodium(1225) manila cause it was designed for our phones, so it runs better, the reason that is, is because there are 600 less manila in those builds, which equals to 600 less files in your Windows directory, not because manila is coded any different, just less files equals faster loading times

You've always helped me!!! I know you aren't a Manila guy so its ok Groove. I only speak from experience about one Manila 2.5 being faster than the other. NRGZ28 won't even put Leo Manila 2.5 packages in any ROMs but his actual Leo ROMs becasue of how slow it runs on all the other devices.

The only thing I know is that LZX is a higher compression, therefore, slower to compress. XPR doesn't quite compress as well as LZX but compresses faster.

I was having very weird video and audio related problems when cooking with LZX switching to XPR resolved my problems.
