Re: [ Kitchen ][ 2-24 ][ v1.6 RC ][28232 / 23540 / 21892 / 21056] Calkulin's WVGA Kit

I am running 2012.1225 with 21892 and I have problems with youtube sound.. Well, not really problems.. I'd like that.. Its just not working!

I saw the enablemdp regedit fix.. I was just wondering, does anyone know what MDP stands for; what it is/means? Is this it?

http://blogs.westword.com/backbeat/2...ery_projec.php

Music Discovery Project? Uhh.. why would that screw with video!?

Ok.. So I just played a video with it.. Sound was working on the first play.. It would not automatically go back to full screen, it would just display the controls.. Then I clicked play again.. no sound, full screen.. About 3 seconds after the video finished playing.. I got a call.. no sound/ringer.. Now thats a problem.

I'm betting this is the MDP its referring to.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Media_dispatch_protocol

reenabled mdp and now youtube gives the error upon 'trying' to play a video Error (window title) This video cannot be played (text in window).

site preference has no option for US... I don't know if thats always been that way.. never tried to change it..

Re: [ Kitchen ][ 2-24 ][ v1.6 RC ][28232 / 23540 / 21892 / 21056] Calkulin's WVGA Kit

Well I am very happy with this new kitchen using a 23540 ROM I built.
Thanks Calkulin!

Only problem I am coming across is a ringtone issue.
I made an EXT that puts some ringtones into main storage so they are directly selectable without any other edits, etc. The ringtones have always worked with previous kitchens, however only the stock ringtones work now. None of my custom .mp3 ringtones work anymore. Just vibrate and no sound.

Any body else? icon123?

Just to let everyone know....I added FM Radio from the Rhodium S2 ROM that our beloved Manila 2.5.2012 came from and nothing. So I'm not sure how that Verizon TP2 user had FM Radio working.

Outside of that I don't know the feature difference.
1225 is NOT made for our phones. It's made for GSM Rhodium, which has about 100 MB more memory.

How BG4All and landscape working? I think before the wallpaper was messed up.

Is that ROM memory or RAM memory, if its ROM and has the same CPU then I wouldn't think it would make a big difference.

Is any version of Manilla 2.5 really made by HTC for the Touch Pro2 or is it just modified by people on this site to retrofit it to the TP2? I would think if it was really made for the TP2 then there wouldn't have to be the workarounds to make landscape mode and MMS work.
