if the only thing you were looking for was a program to send mms then you could use the leo messaging and send mms with a program called smms. but if you are looking for speed then your option is the best

Yes arcsoft is needed to send and receive MMS

yea, i like 2.5 but i text a ton, so it gets laggy, or has this improved with the new leo rom? 2.1 messaging in 2.5 seems like a perfect "solution"

the newest HTC messaging is much improved.

ive put it through its paces and its still laggy to a point but no where near as laggy as the previous versions have been.

HTC Messaging client has improved somewhat over the last few builds but it has yet to catch up to the speed of manila messaging, so yes, if you text(& MMS) alot, then the 2.1 messaging client is better
