Kevin

1080p would refer to HD Output and possibly HD Video recording.

Sometimes I'm slow...
So if the OEMXipkernel is not build specific to the build, it would seem that any xip could be used with out any trouble. Is that true?

OEMXIPKernel is device specific, not build. when using the EV kitchen, you simply copy the OEM xip from a previous "build" w/in the ROM folder, so yes. you continue to use the same OEMXIPKernel from the device.

despite the fact the ROM > Touch_Pro2 >2xxxx builds all have different numbers, they all contain the same OEMXIPKernel (however the OEMXIPKernel released w/the sprint 6.5 ROM has been updated since the previous 6.1 sprint ROM)

it's the MSXIPKernel that changes from build to build.

So since the OEMXipKernel you posted does not have the wince.nls file do we ned to copy this file into the new folder?

Also where does the xip.bin file go?

yes, either copy it into the OEMXIPKernel if you want it in the XIP... or include it as one of your OEMs.

xip.bin is not needed for EVK, just included in case anyone wanted to use it for manual porting

i've attached the sprint 6.5 (21889) wincenls for convenience

Cool Thanks

Does running this XIP help with battery? I tried the OEMDrivers from 6.5 and battery only lasted 8 hours.

On the original OEMDrivers I can go several days.
