Iknow that there have been a multitude of questions about the Start Menu (I'm guiltly of a few) but, I have read the HOW TO START MENU multiple times and I have most of my icons organized, but I am having trouble with the following:

Office 2010
Remote Desktop
Windows Live
Messenger
Marketplace
Mail setup
Manilla shortcuts

I know that I am supposed to look in the provxml but there really isn't a description on how to edit that to make it work. I've got the whole app.dat editing down. A little help with this would be much appreciated.

Heres a quick tutorial I made up:

1. Click the drop-down box labelled "Device" and select "TOUCH_PRO2"(Even though Touch Pro2 is already selected, select it again).
2. Click the drop-down box labelled "EXT Build" and select what type of ROM you want(6.1, 6.5, 6.5.x).
3. Click the drop-down box labelled "XIP Build" and choose a XIP version
(in Calkulin's Kitchen 1.6 R3,
21056 = 6.1
21893 = 6.5
23542 = 6.5.x
28232 = 6.5.x )
4. Click the drop-down box labelled "SYS Build" and choose a matching build to the "XIP Build".
5. Make sure you check the "Real WM 6.5 AKU" Box.
6. Click "Other" and adjust your PagePool size(in MB).
7. Scroll down to the section lablled
"TOUCH_PRO2-Device: Packages"
"COMMON: Packages"
"SHARED-Devices: Packages"
and choose what you want to include in your ROM.
8. After you have added in or removed what you want in your ROM, click the "Create ROM" button, which wont be greyed out now.
9. Hopefully your ROM will build properly, and you can now flash it to your device.

I dont use Messenger, marketplace, or live so i just left them out.

Office 2010- should be in your initflash
Remote Desktop- should be in app.dat
Windows Live- Chose not to cook in
Messenger- Chose not to cook in
Marketplace- "skymarket" chose not to cook in
Mail setup- \EXT\Shared\Packages\Manila Engine - 2.5.2012.1225.0 (app.dat)

Manilla shortcuts- write his into your registry:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HTC\Manila]
"IsShortcutEnable"=dword:0

I just stuck it in my app.reg for my icons. this worked for me.

Has anyone had any random lock ups while scrolling through files in file explorer? Its not completely locking up, but it freezes for about 5 seconds before coming back. I'm not sure if this could be a display driver issue. i'm using the chainfire driver.

If anyone has any ideas i'd appreciate it. I really dont want to flash each to test.

I don't know where all of the shortcuts are, but I know that the Office ones are installed from here:
SYS\21895\SHARED\COMMON\Office\mxipupdate_office_1 00.provxml
Where ever you see "%CE11%\Office Mobile 2010" is the folder that it installs that file to. I actually take out the 2010, so mine installs to the Office Mobile folder. You should be able to rename Office Mobile 2010 folder to whatever you want, just make sure that you rename each and every reference in that file. You'll also want to edit the OneNote provxml in that same folder. I haven't tried it, but you might be able to put in a subfolder at that point, but i haven't tried it.

Mail Setup is in the app.dat file for your Manila version.
EXT\Shared\Packages\Manila Engine - 2.X.XXXXXXXX

The manila shortcuts are a reg edit.
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HTC\Manila]
"IsShortcutEnable"=dword:0

Tried the two files for VZW MMS and the new VZW ext. Now my MMS still says expired, my ROM had Sprint as the default MMS server, I have NO modem connection (had to set up manually) and it just seems like the more I mess with it, the worse it gets. Oh yeah, I still have no sound on YouTube, and YouTube won't play any files unless I open the app, close it, and then reopen it. ](*,)
