you sure it downloaded fully? I have 23542 in SYS and ROM. Also, depending on the OS, you need to run it as admin. I run Windows 7 64 bit and 32 bit as well as XP X64, the 7 needs to be admin, XP doesnt care.

There are many tutorials and instructions on what to do, but I dont know where myself, never bothered... I just press buttons until things stop working, then start over ](*,) I just cooked 1.6 R3 with 23542 on Sprint in my light style, no games, no wifi apps, no extra fonts, keyboards or themes. ROM package was 142mb and loads fast as hell. Loving this kitchen once again!

23452 in the 1.6 R3 kitch is great so far. And the Co0kie Home Tab 1.6 is awesome, smooth animations! Also you have to try xTask it took me a while to figure it out but well worth it.

Just tried the kitchen and my nbh file ended up 189 mb. I am not sure what options to select to get a bare ROM with sms, mms, wifi. I was using the 23542 sys.

What should pagepool be set to?

I am a verizon user.

I personally set page pool at 0 and everything runs great. You may want to play around with different setting and see what works best for you.

Why am I having trouble running the RUU in this kitchen? Never experienced that before. Built the rom 3 different times, but after the PP Changer comes on, nothing happens. I also tried running the RUU directly and it looks like it loads but then just goes way. Any ideas guys?

Same thing has been happening to me...I'm guessing but I think the last 3 versions have not worked for me...to make it work now I have to cut/paste the created ROM into an old kitchen RUU...

using 23106 now seems great so far using the modified chainfire driver that scubasteve posted. Everything does seem snappier. Plus it still has the threaded emails which I love. I was using 235xx builds forevever for that feature.

Ahh okay. And it's probably as silly as me deciding to spend the whole day trying to get my own tweaks.provxml file to work before just giving up and taking my edits on the back of Calkulin's. :drunken:

About to try creating a ROM with 23542... trying to decide whether I should keep Manilla 2.5 or switch to 2.1. Is 2.5 just as stable as 2.1 now? Or are there still problems with text messaging, etc?
