Huh... forgot about that...
then the interest is purely aesthetic. I think it looks pretty cool.
Plus, who likes being blinded when ya flip the screen on in the dark?

The problem is the wallpaper I like does not do well with the manila tabs so it can really only be used on the lockscreen...

If your using Manila 2.5, you can change it seperately in Manila's Settings Tab -> Personalize.

Data is only broken if you overwrite the ModelName.txt on a running ROM

Calkulin,

thanks for everything you've done for the community. while others have posted their roms, you've not only done that, but you've also posted your kitchens so noobs like me can make roms fairly easily that look and work just as well as a cook that's been making roms for years. My confirmation number is below for my small donation. Enjoy the beers!!

Can't wait till this is solid but so far it looks like most of the colors have been properly inverted.
I'm always interested in these kind of theme-tweaks because the dark colors save so much battery.
[PRJ]ovi's WinDroid Project

These seem a bit better (Here & Here) since he is doing 6.1, 6.5, & 6.5.x and also GSM & CDMA versions.

G-alarm is breaking the rom. It was causing my screen to shift up about 1/4 of an inch and it broke the native alarm as well. My advice is to leave it out totally and install the newest 2.3 by cab...works well then.

Calkulin,

Does the new swype fully work in your kitchen? bc i had baked it in buildos and it breaks sprint tv etc due to the ModelName.txt file.

Also - i had tried before in your kitchen and i couldn't properly switch out the OEMXIPKernel ... i dropped my personal modules in the build's OEMXIPKernel area and upon creation of the ROM, the XIP seem to have dropped the extra file i had put in the OEMXIPKernel and reverted the area i modified ... does your kitchen only copy or keep files expected in the kernel?
