Calkulin,

many of the folks here have tried to help me with the ebooks tab and i'm much appreciative for it...but no matter what i do, when i cook ebooks tab into my rom, manila just won't come up. it tries to load but it wont.

i'm using the 1.51 kitchen with a 23xxx build.

i'm thinking i have a conflict of some sort but have no idea what it is.

any thoughts?

Manila 2.5.1922+ doesn't need it but Resco 08 & probably other older programs need it

LOL you know I think I had the exact problem at first. After you select the cab for conversion it will show it in the big window. Before you hit convert you have to click on it in the window of the program (it will highlight). If you are converting multiple cabs you need to select them all.

Thanks for that. Now I'm cooking with GAS! Any idea on the .tsk problem with the phone not reading the ones on the storage card?

I did have this same issue. I pulled one off a rom I dumped and everytime I tried to add it to the kitchen, it would stop on manila load and say tap here to load. I ended up downloading one some pages back and used this one. I compared to the one i had made and it was the same so it must have had some corrupt files. The one back some pages did work for me. I hope this helps.

I use these tabs on 23534 and have on 23530 and 23529. Manila versions 2011, 2012
