Can anyone confirm that after doing this operation they are getting the USA 3G networks....not just EDGE speeds?

Dave

Here is you answer, no 3g on US GSM networks. Only Edge. US GSM 3G carriers use different frequency bands.

Cheers.

Putting my ATT SIM in gets me onto the network, and I can make/receive calls over GSM, but using the data settings for ATT fail to make a connection. Any ideas?

I am using:

Access point: wap.cingular
User: WAP@CINGULARGPRS.COM
Pass: CINGULAR1

For some reason, just one time, I was able to load opera.com without getting an error. Just once though.

does the TP2 automatically reboot after its been unlocked... it happened so quickly after I hit the OK button, that I'm not sure if i did it correctly.

Quick Question ...

Lets say i want to talk on the phone and be on the internet at the same time.. If i unlocked my SIM card .. got a GSM card from T-mobile or ATT.. Would i be able to use their data network while talking on the Sprint CDMA network?

Thanks

Ive seen this asked many times, and to date the answer is no. The reasoning behind it being that the phone cannot handle the connections simultaneously for both gsm and cdma more or less. One could POSSIBLY however, insert card, and remove card and go back and forth. I'm with ya on it, it would be an awesome feature... but i bet you'd have like 2 hours battery life :P

I feel ya..battery power .. make sense...unless of course you had the phone plug in to the wall.. While you had a head piece on .. and using your phone as a modem via wifi.. :P ... They that would be three radios at once ... lol.... hmm.. where there is a will there is a way!

THanks
