i flashed this rom and it worked then i had to do a power cycle and then it shows the i guess its called a task bar i get that with the current time and all and it has a bright white screeen how can i fix it please

If reseting it wont work (remove battery cover, use stylus to poke little red dot) then you need to enter bootloader and reflash the Rom

To enter bootloader- take off battery cover, hold down power button and down volume as you poke the reset hole with the stylus...screen should turn rainbow colored, hook back to usb and reflash.

i got into the boot loader i keep getting a connectionn error but it shows its connect it says htc usb sync

Merdin makes good stuff...but this is a fairly old ROM. I like Mr X's stuff, and he just put out an update to his 2.5, and it's really good. If you like the newer finger friendly ones, try Medium Hill Rom by Dibson or Vin's neodium/plutonium stuff.
