There is a cab to disable weather animations. Will this work temporarily for the graphical bug and if so does anyone have the cab for it? I am trying to find it now and will post if i find it first

If the weather animation on the home screen which has a rotating box-like look is whats being talked about. You can use regedit to disable any weather animation on home screen by:

HKEY CURRENT USER-SOFTWARE-HTC-MANILA- (Scroll through values at bottom, Tap on (Home.WallpaperMode) and change the value to 2

Once done, hard reset. Note: The home animation will resume if wallpapers are changed.

This way cabs don't have to get involved and weather its default manila with raindrops, clouds, custom, whatever weather animation is disabled!

i am loving this rom!! i have found one issue though that made me switch to a different one.. i was on the sense 2.5 rom and the internet sharing would not work? i tried it a few different ways and couldnt get it to work. when you initially plug your phone into your computer i clicked on it there and nothing would happen. i then went into the start menu and tried to click on the icon in there and same thing, nothing? for a split second you'll see internet sharing across the top of the screen, but then it disappears.. any fix for this? or is anyone else having the same problem?

this is a nice looking sophisticated rom, im fairly new to roms but i know this took a lot of work. the work is appreciated. the problem im having is on a clear day in the weather animation the screen looks kinda weird. im wondering if the clouds cab fixes this or if this is just a bug if its a bug or if i did something wrong. :salute:

I love the new ROM my only compaint is that you backtracked on the text messages... the windows format of SMS is lame but other than that everything is stable is great for me! O and the large icons... less is more

after a phone call, the "end call" button doesn't work for me..........have to hit the hardware key (lower right) to end the call.

This is my first Merdin ROM, and I gotta say, I really like it. Have been running EnergyROM (6.5.3) for the last few months, but I'm really impressed by this one - it's faster and IMO, prettier (except the blue clouds). Still testing the battery life.
I just flashed last night, and here are a few of the issues I've noticed:

1. After setting up a People tab favorite to send a text message to the contact, nothing happens when the favorite is pressed. Call favorites work properly.
2. A few graphical problems, possibly associated with Dusk.
3. Difficult to get the task manager to come up by pressing the upper right of the screen. I've only been successful a couple of times.

Also, I'm on sprint running the Jan 9 28014 ROM. Good work.

I believe you mean soft-reset. I tried this on 2.1, and it does not fix weather animation, but as Merdin said, he'll work on a fix thankfully :)

Can't wait to see 28XXX 2.1 ROMS if you plan on doing any
